Last school year it seemed my geek levels weren't high enough, and my new-found group of friends helped me kick it up a notch. So I've been gaming a lot, and one of the games I've been playing just so happens to be Dungeons and Dragons.
This is Crocuta, two weapon-fighting gnoll ranger, the character I created after my chaotic stupid rogue found out why you shouldn't steal from the dead. Gnoll = hyena man; I had to play one.
I wanted him to be badass, but he's become comic relief because my friends are like that. I should just change his name to Lightningrod.
It all started with my friends getting the idea that instead of just getting a regular slave collar, I should get a shock collar. Then I got hit by an electric spell by the innkeeper's daughter. The party wizard has promised to learn Shocking Grasp in case my gnoll gets too wild.
I just hope they don't put me up against a blue dragon.
Not so much volunteered as went HELL YES when I found out monsters could be PCs. I'm also playing a wererat rogue in an evil-alignment game.
If only I could find a way to make me non-conductive.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
